I've spent 15 years moving between clinical social work and international education, living and working abroad myself since 2012, first in Spain and now in Shenzhen. I know what it feels like to lose your footing in a new country, not as a temporary inconvenience but as a years-long condition, and I have the clinical training to help someone rebuild it. I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker in Maryland and a GBPCA Registered Counsellor based in Shenzhen. My practice, EF TakeOff Coaching, works with expats on anxiety, burnout, depression, workplace stress, family conflict, and the adjustment strain of building a life somewhere unfamiliar. ADHD and executive function run through most of my work. I don't treat EF challenges as a productivity problem. They're a regulation problem, and that's something you can build. Alongside counseling, I offer EF coaching for clients who want systems, not just reflection. I currently practice under clinical supervision.
